Our lead singer, Germain Tripel won the ACE "Male Revelation" for his role in "Hedwig and the Angry Inch," the local version of the musical set in 1998 and made into a movie in 2001.
The story is about finding love on the part of Hedwig, a transsexual singer of glam rock band. John Cameron Mitchell wrote the script of the play and was also the director and main actor of the film. The music and lyrics of the songs was Stephen Trask.
